A family run & barbeque held every year in memory of Ted Batterham - a valued member, past Secretary, and friend of the club.

Sunday 26 July 2026
Races run at the usual time from Shelly Beach, followed by a family BBQ at the carpark 150m north of Belle General Café.

On the day
- ✓ Watches must not be worn during the run
- ✓ No iPods or similar devices during the run
- ✓ Family BBQ follows at the carpark

Awarded to the athlete who finishes at the time nearest to their handicapped time.
Junior trophy
Daley's Gourmet Meats Trophy
For junior members 16 years and under in the 1K, 3K, and 6K events who finish closest to their handicapped time.

A valued club member
Ted Batterham was a dedicated volunteer and friend who gave years of service to Ballina Athletics Club.
