Bit of a half half effort with this one.
What a cracker of a day for another week of Cross Country.
In the 1K category, the youngest female participants (8 & under) were led by Nilah, Lola, and Alice with them all smashing their handicaps. For our young men we saw Nathan, Jack, and Tahlo taking the top spots. The 9-14 age group had standout performances from Stella, making a triumphant return, and Emilia among the females, and Manny and Harry among the males.
The 15-46 age group was dominated by Simone and Jo for the females, while David M and James F led the males in the 21+ category.
In the 3K runs, Eve D and Jessica D emerged as top contenders in the 11 & under female category, with Max leading the males in the 9 & under bracket. The 12-21 age group had impressive showings from Grace, smashing her handicap, and Marley for the females, and Alex and Ari, both beating handicap, for the males.
The 22-44 female group was headed by Emily, who absolutely obliterated her handicap, Gwyn, and Kyrie. I need to watch my back, because these ladies are KILLING IN.
Nadege and Cleon led the 45-55 female category, while Lois and Janelle were prominent in the 56+ category. The males aged 16-61 were represented by Brett S, smashing his handicap by a whole minute, Peter D, and Matthew W.
The 6K event for the 70 & under female group saw Sandra and Aislinn, both beating their handicap, taking the lead, while Shay and Patrick excelled among the 41 & under males. In the 42-63 male category, Brian and Gary J were the frontrunners, with Garry S and Frank leading the 64+ males.
