Volunteer

We cannot run our season without our volunteers.

All our roles are very simple, but to get a feel before you put your hand up get across these descriptions:

Stopwatch: Stopwatch volunteers are responsible for accurately timing the duration of each participant. They have the glorious task of yelling out handicap times and clicking everyone across the line.

Finish Tokens: Finish tokens volunteers manage the distribution of tokens to participants as they cross the finish line. These tokens serve as unique identifiers and are used for recording individual finish times with the scribes.

Scribe: Scribes play a vital role in recording important information. They document runner numbers, start times and finish positions to facilitate accurate results tracking.

Road Safety: Road safety focuses on ensuring the safety of participants and spectators along the route. They may assist in managing road crossings and alerting participants to potential hazards on the course.

Steps Safety: Steps safety ensures the safety of participants navigating the steps off the beach. Their proactive approach helps prevent accidents and injuries during the event.
