Membership & Registration 📝

Joining the Ballina Athletic Club is an annual tradition! Your membership covers our entire 25-week season, including 25 runs, our community barbecues, and entry into 25 weekly lucky draws at the beach.

💰 Season Fees

  • Individual: $30 per person

  • Family: $70 (Includes parents and dependent children living at the same address)

💳 How to Join (Online Registration)

To keep things moving on Sunday mornings and support our volunteers, we have moved to a “Pay-then-Register” online system.

Step 1: Make your Payment Transfer your total fee (e.g., $30 for an individual or $70 for a family) to our Westpac account:

  • Account Name: Ballina Athletics Club Inc.

  • BSB: 032-591

  • Account Number: 14-1476

  • Reference: Use your Full Name as the reference. (If paying at a bank branch, please ask the teller to include your name as the reference).

Step 2: Complete the Membership Form Once you have made your payment, head to our online form.

  • Enter your details and the names of everyone covered by the payment.

  • Important: Include the same Reference used in your bank transfer so we can match your payment to your registration.

  • Note: If you have fewer than 6 family members, please click through the extra pages to ensure you hit the “Submit” button at the end.

🎽 Your Runner Number

Every runner is assigned a personal bib number for the season.

  • Existing Members: If you ran with us last year, we will assign you the same number. Please let us know on the form if you still have your bib from last season.

  • New Members: You can collect your new bib on our sign-up day (TBC) or at the beach before your first run.

  • Pro-Tip: Most members pin their numbers to their shirts (pins provided), but many find sewing them on more convenient for the whole season!

✍️ Help Us Stay Organised

  • Consistency is Key: Please enter your name exactly as it appeared on last year’s results (e.g., if you were “Pat” last year, stay “Pat” this year). This helps us keep your handicap history accurate!

  • Prizes: On your form, don’t forget to tell us your preference for Cash or a Trophy when you win a prize.
